Amazing book written in a way everyone can understand!

I am a Nursing student in my last semester of school and after finding the author on YouTube I was amazed at how he explained such complex things in such simple terms. Do yourself a favor and purchase this book because it is really really good. For the price of two coffees from Starbucks, it can't be beat. It's well written and there is nothing that this book can't explain in terms of physiological processes. Thank you for such an amazing product at such an amazing price. I would recommend this book to anyone needing to learn without getting lost in the medical translation like other medical books. This is an A+ product.

I studied Science in college but always had a poor understanding of human physiology (and I always kind of ignored it in favour of other topics). I picked this up recently for my own general curiosity and have to say it's brilliant. It's clear, well structured and at times fun. It's not written as a popular science book but there are numerous attempts to make the subject relatable to everyday life (but then again physiology naturally is!)
If you're looking for detailed diagrams however, this isn't the book for you. The diagrams are hand-drawn, which give an idea of where things. I looked stuff up images online to give me a better idea. However, that's not a criticism of the book - the author states this from the outset and it's quite clear from the front cover.
They're only notes - but very good notes I think.

This is the best teaching book in physiology that I've ever come across.

This book contains lots of diagrams which are very easy to understand, they are cleverly simplified but never simplistic.
Indeed, this priciple applies to the whole text. It manages to combine a simplicity of explaination with valid scientific accuracy.
It makes sense of all the more complex physiology books which are so difficult to understand. It's also an basis for understanding complicated physiology lectures. This book provides the basic understanding necessary to learn Pathophysiology and disease processes. In fact, campbell's pathophysiology book is also avaliable which builds on these essential principles of physiology - providing a link that makes clinical features and therefore clinical care inteligible. Also it's great value for money.
