It is an amazing book that every beginner who is interested in Topology should read!
Actually, it is the one of the two books that he must read, before starting a "university" book with the tremendous amount of definitons, theorems and formulae. The other book is Dr. Flegg's From Geometry to Topology.

technical issues.

Kindle edition cannot be read on kindle on the mac computer, or android kindle app. Looks fine on the kindle preview at amazon, and has weird large pixelated images of a giant letter "p" inserted so there will frequently be only a single line of text on a page and the giant p.

like the title says, it was fairly intuitive

Which is helpful to get some if the basic ideas down. I wouldn't have minded some more concrete examples, but this was still good for an intro, especially at the price.
